Local county councillor Aidy Riggott has been hard at work delivering cleaner and tidier communities across Euxton, Buckshaw and Astley villages.
Times to coincide with Lent, Aidy launched a new initiative spending time every day giving something extra back to our communities, with support from his family and wider campaign team.
Throughout the forty days of Lent,Aidy cleaned styreet and warning signs, undertook street light inspections, lead numerous litter picks and even cleaned up horse muck.
Aidy commented "Thank you to all those who showed their support throughout this initiative by suggesting areas in need of care and attention, or simply stopping to say hello."
As always, Aidy will continue to be hands on in our community and will hold Chorley Council to account on their maintenance and upkeep of the villages.
