Along with dedicated neighbourhood policing teams for every inch of Lancashire, backed up by task forces.
DISRUPTING AND DISMANTLING ORGANISED CRIME
We have funded and enabled Lancashire Police to set up Operation Warrior to relentlessly target organised crime gangs.
This means that on average every week 17 crime gang members are arrested, 2kg of drugs are taken off the streets and £55k of cash is seized.
CRACKING DOWN ON BURGLARY
Burglary is down in Lancashire, following the arrest of over 1,000 burglars in the last year alone.
All residential burglaries are to be attended by an officerwith neighbourhood police colleagues following up to offer advice to victims and surrounding properties.
TACKLING DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL ABUSE
We've delivered a new dedicated rape and serious sexual assault team to ensure that victims get the justice they deserve.
Along with £7million more to support victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence, providing the specialist support needed.
TARGETING DANGEROUS DRIVERS
Conservatives at County Hall have secured £7.9million from the Government for a further roll out of average speed cameras.
We are focus in resources to better respond to concerns about dangerous driving through targeted actions and seizing more vehicles.
GETTING TOUGHER SENTENCES
We all want to make sure that the great work of Lancashire Police to arrest more criminals also means they get the sentences they deserve. Andrew Snowden has been working with the Government to secure tougher sentences for criminals.
