A public exhibition has been held this week at Euxton CE Primary School on 19th January and another opportunity tomorrow on Saturday 23rd January between 10.30 am and 2.30 pm.
County Councillor & Borough Cllr Mark Perks fought vigorously against Chorley Council placing the land adjacent to Euxton Lane and Pear Tree Lane for housing development, in the borough’s Local Plan a number of years ago.
Mark has already taken up the opportunity to meet the developers’ consultants to raise questions and look at the proposals for the 170 homes and has now submitted his thoughts and suggestion on the plans.
Outline plans are expected to go before Chorley Council as early as this March.
Anyone wishing to add comments or suggestion and to view the plans can also do so online up to Monday 8th February.
With further homes being built currently on Buckshaw Village and with the large increase in families moving into the area is already having on school places. Mark continues to question both Chorley Council and Lancashire County Council regarding their capacity and ability to meet pressures placed on local services and infrastructure, such as highways.
