CHORLEY is one of the first ten opposition-held constituencies in England and Wales chosen to select their next Conservative parliamentary candidate.
With a Labour majority of just 2,593 from an electorate of over 75,000 and other characteristics, Chorley is seen as a key target seat at the next general election to be held in 912 days time.
Chairman Peter Malpas said "This is really exciting news, and speaking on behalf of Chorley Conservatives, we are all excited that we will be choosing our candidate from a super high-quality list."
"We expect to complete the selection process by Christmas and have Chorley's candidate in place by then".
