Chris Grayling MP, Lord Chancellor, Secretary of State for Justice, accompanied parliamentary candidate Rob Loughenbury to visit the Anderton Centre to hear about the courses and support given to young people as part of their education. They were met by Jenny England, marketing co-ordinator for the Anderton Centre, and Lynda Myles, chief officer of Lancashire Outdoor Activities Initiative (LOAI).
Councillor Mark Perks, a trustee of the charity, also accompanied the Secretary of State on his visit.
The Lancashire Outdoor Acticity Initiative charity at the centre provides outdoor activities for young people often provided through schools and other bodies.
