On-street parking accounts published. Over 1,400 penalty notices issued across Chorley.

From the latest figures available, Lancashire Parking Services made a net contribution in 2015/16 of £428,738 from operating their on-street car parking service.

Their report indicates that they issued 44,475 Penalty Charge Notice's of which 36,319 were paid. Another 4,257 were cancelled and 3,899 were outstanding at the year end.  Overall, Lancashire County Council issued 855 PCN's a week.

Here in Chorley, Lancashire County Council issued 1,482 notices of which 1,225 were paid, 138 cancelled and 119 outstanding at year end. Across Chorley the average number of PCN's issued each week averaged 28.
