CHORLEY COUNCIL is set to benefit from a huge New Homes Bonus payment next year. The provisional announcement means that Chorley Council will benefit from £2,629,818, the largest amount for any district council in Lancashire.
Local councils can decide how to spend the New Homes Bonus. However, the Government expect local councils to consult communities about how they will spend the money, especially communities where housing stock has increased.
