Conservative Rob Loughenbury writes "Today I am launching a new campaign to get more local school places for Chorley families – and I need your help."
"Labour-run Lancashire County Council has received £65 million from the Government to fund new school places since 2010. Chorley has not seen its fair share of this money used in the right places. As a result, many local families are struggling to get their children into the school of their choice."
"At the same time, our Labour-run Councils are not doing enough to secure funding for new school places from housing developers. We have lots of new homes in Chorley, but not enough new classrooms and schools."
