The Conservative manifesto sets out a clear route-map to a bright future for working people.
Help for those who want to own their home. Support for those who want to work. Lower taxes so working people can keep more of their money – all whilst finally freeing the UK from the budget deficit inherited by Labour.
A Conservative Government will:
abolish income tax for anyone on the minimum wage and increase the minimum wage to £8;
increase the NHS budget by £8 billion, funded by our strong economic growth and matching the figure called for by the NHS Chief Executive;
provide 30 hours of free child care for two and three year olds, saving working families thousands of pounds every year;
build 200,000 new starter homes, on sale at a 20% discount to first time buyers under 40, and give Housing Association tenants the Right to Buy their home;
no increases in income tax, VAT, national insurance contributions or train fares;
- give British people and in-out referendum on EU membership.
Most important of all, we will wipe out the national deficit and run a budget surplus from 2018, finally removing the yoke of borrowing put on our necks by Labour.
Here in Chorley I have set out a clear plan for what I want to achieve as your MP:
- secure more school places, so families can get their kids into their first choice school;
fight to protect home care for the elderly, by supporting specialist care providers put at risk by reforms by Lancashire Labour;
- help working people own their home through Conservative policies such as Help to Buy, Right to Buy and the new Starter Homes Initiative.
The Conservatives are asking for your permission to finish the economic recovery. I am asking your permission to carry out my plan for Chorley and work every day for our community.
Remember, a vote for anyone other than me is a vote for Ed Miliband, a Labour-SNP coalition and a one way ticket back to 2008.
