Andrew Snowden, who lives locally with his wife, and is the current Chairman of our Rural East Branch, has been selected by the Conservatives to fight the 2016 Local Elections as the Candidate for Wheelton and Withnell.
Andrew lives just off Bolton Road in Abbey Village with his wife Caroline and their dog Heidi. They had previously lived on Railway Road in Brinscall, and last year got married at Hillside Methodist Church, Brinscall.
Andrew said “I am equally as excited as I am honored to have been selected to represent my community as the Conservative Party’s Spokesman in the villages that make up the Wheelton and Withnell ward, we have loved every minute of living in this community and I look forward to standing up for it”.
Councillor Paul Leadbetter, Leader of the Conservatives on Chorley Council, said “Andrew is a hardworking and dedicated individual, who has a wealth of experience from management roles in both the private and public sectors. He will be a first rate representative for the residents of Wheelton and Withnell ward, I look forward to working with him.
Caroline, Andrew’s wife, added “Andrew has been a part of this area all his life, his Dad was a player at White Coppice for many years, and he was so happy when we decided to make our home here; I know he will put his all into making sure he does his best for everyone in our communities”.
