Along with Chorley Borough Councillor Mick Muncaster, Cllr Alan Cullens is calling on Lancashire County Council and the bus operator to review their plans for our area.
The Conservatives called for a service by service review which, Labour and the Liberal Democrats refused and then they pressed ahead with sweeping cuts to services.
This has left the new estate on Wigan Road and areas of Cuerden without an appropriate service.
By adjusting the route of the 114 to go via Wigan Road and Stanifield Lane this will return a much needed service to this area.
Alan Cullens said "I would welcome feedback from across Rural North to any further suggestions to improve services."
The 114 service runs from Chorley interchange to Leyland and return.
