This week Cllr Andrew Snowden, who represents Chorley's Hoghton with Wheelton Division, spent a day inspecting the progress on the work he and Cllr Keith Iddon, Chorley Rural West, have been doing with senior County Council Highways Officers on Lancashire Conservative's investment in keeping our roads safe this winter.
These preparations include plans to mobilise the additional £300k, made available through back office efficiencies, to be spent on more drain clearing this winter to prevent surface water flooding or ice and also the preparations for gritting by not scrimping on stock pilling enough salt to ensure the gritting rota plans and trigger points can be implemented correctly.
Your local Conservative County Councillors, working hard for you all year round!
